This small poem was inspired by the recent events happening in Kenosha right now with the riots. As good citizens protect their businesses, homes, and families from Antifa/BLM rioters, it was only a matter of time before the violence escalated. But of course, Democrats and the mainstream news continue to call these riots “protests.” They will demonize anyone who has the courage to defend everything they hold dear. Just look at what the media will do to the man who defended his business and then had to defend himself from the rioters as he went to turn himself in to the cops.
So this tiny little poem is what popped into my head as I thought about all of this. I feel it is more of a repetitive stanza for a much larger poem, yet it eludes me for now. But it is short and to the point given recent events.
Poem: Defend Yourself (Working Title)
Defend your business, defend your home,
When Antifa BLM comes rioting on.
But a warning I offer, before you do.
That the Mainstream News will demonize you
For Democrats support these rioters its true
Leaving the defense of all you hold dear to you.
