With this latest video, I wanted to step back from all the criminal activities, shootouts, and big events. So it was with great delight that I watched this driving test unfold on Vader’s stream and decided this would be a fun little video to do.
There were a couple of problems with editing the video for “MelGene’s Driving Test.” First and foremost, the VOD for Spaceboy (Mel) was not available for some reason which was a shame. I feel this video would have been even more entertaining if I could have switched to Mel’s point-of-view during his shenanigans. The other issue was audio. When it came to sound, more specifically the car engine noise, Tessa’s POV was a lot more muted than Eugene’s and I found it to be rather jarring.
Otherwise, this was a fun little video to make and a nice departure from all the action-oriented stuff. I definitely want to find more situations like these because it really showcases the Streamers’ voice-acting talents and, more importantly, their improvisational skills. In this case, Vader (Eugene) and Nakkida (Tessa) did a great job reacting to Mel’s (Spaceboy) antics.
