For this video, it was the easiest and fastest one to make. Mostly because I only had two useful point-of-views, of just one side, and none from the opposing side. A shame, really, since it would have been cool to see the attack from ESB’s perspective. But there were a couple of problems that prevented me from doing so.
The first issue was that the video quality of one ESB streamer was only at 480p, which would have been a huge detraction from the overall quality of the video. The second issue was on Deadeye’s end in that all of his VODs were for subscribers only. So I had no access to them. As for the other two ESBs who were involved, I didn’t know who they were.
As for the Lean Bois’ perspective, I couldn’t use the majority of Denzel’s because there was music being played in the background which would have resulted in a copyright strike on the video. This particular issue tends to crop quite a bit and makes it harder to edit such videos (a strike was issued on the video The Cursed Case of Curtis & Associates for this reason). Because of this, there are one or two issues of OOC moments on Eugene’s (Vader) part, where he was laughing, that I couldn’t work around.
Aside from the editing, I am also doing away with the black screen and text intro. Instead, I’m inserting pictures with text on them for a bit more pop, though I should look around for a short music intro to add into it. But I haven’t found anything I can use yet. I’ll also look into trying to come up with a better intro at some point if I can.
All that said, I think the video came out well enough, but could have been better if at least one ESB perspective could have been worked in. There will be a couple more Lean Bois vs ESB shorts like this where I will definitely have their perspective in the video.
In the meantime, let me know what you think about the video!
