505 Games has announced that a new fantasy indie action-adventure game, Stray Blade, is now available for Windows PC (Steam and EPIC), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X and S.
Developed by Point Blank Games, Stray Blade is set in Acrea the Lost Valley, a once-peaceful valley that has been torn apart by war and death. Players will take on the role of an adventurer who has been resurrected after perishing in the ruins. Alongside Boji, a Xhinnon Wolf companion, players will travel through the world which is wrought with destruction, to uncover forgotten treasures hidden in the deepest corners of a world altered by the Adventurer’s actions.
Bound to the land they wander, players will need to build a lasting bond with Boji in order to regain their freedom. While progressing, players will discover lore to advance Boji’s craftsmanship and create powerful new weapons to master the game’s combat system. Players will have to balance quick reactions with adaptable strategies to affect the flow of combat and change the world until the valley resembles its halcyon days.
Stray Blade will let players witness the world-altering effects of their actions by revisiting areas, but be prepared for the greater challenges lying in wait. Players will have to restore peace to colorful city ruins, frozen caverns, curving canyons, decaying throne rooms of towering god-kings, and other overgrown areas buried by time to complete the game’s objectives.
Stray Blade is now available on Windows PC (Steam and EPIC), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X and S for $34.99 MSRP, with a 20% launch discount on all platforms from now until Thursday, April 27, 10:00 am PDT.
