Polish indie developer Viabo Games has announced that Wanderer’s Sigil, a turn-based roguelike RPG, is set to release Q1 2024 on PC. Wanderer’s Sigil will introduce players to a devastated realm scarred by the aftermath of rampant magic. Players will step into the shoes of brave wanderers who will navigate perilous landscapes, recover long-lost knowledge, and fight for survival.
The game features an array of elements that Viabo Games says will provide an immersive experience with its procedurally generated world, characters, and storylines; ensuring each playthrough offers a fresh and unique adventure. In addition, gameplay-altering decisions are expected to provide an extra layer of depth, as choices made by the players will shape their fate in the game.
One of the main features of Wanderer’s Sigil will be its dice-building system. Players will witness their character’s abilities transform through customizable dice, with equipment directly influencing the outcome of rolls. The dice system is expected to introduce another layer of depth and excitement to the tactical turn-based combat as the dice represent the characters’ skills and abilities.
Wanderer’s Sigil will also include resource management and challenging exploration as players must navigate a post-apocalyptic fantasy world where remnants of civilization struggle to endure. While attempting to discover the secrets that have reshaped the world, players will traverse hostile environments, dangerous creatures, and weigh the pros and cons between attaining treasure or essential supplies to keep your caravan alive. To succeed, players will need to hinge their success on their tactical prowess, decision-making skills, and a lucky roll of the dice.
Wanderer’s Sigil is scheduled to launch on PC in Q1 2024 for the Steam platform and can be added to users’ wishlists right now.
