Polish developer P4 GAMES WOJCIECH PACIEJ has announced Pusher: Drug Tycoon, a business tycoon simulation game set during the 1980s drug trade of the United States, for Steam. Tentatively set for a release in August 2023, Steam users can currently add it to their wishlist in anticipation of the game.
In Pusher: Drug Tycoon, players will step into the shoes of a drug dealer named Marcus Johnson where the aim is to maximize profits by buying low and selling high in a strategic manner. Players will also have to navigate market fluctuations, expand their trade to major cities coast-to-coast, contend with rival dealers, and deal with law enforcement.
The game will offer various features that includes strategic drug trading, turn-based fights, money laundering to invest in legal assets, team recruitment, and exploration of major US cities for lucrative opportunities. All of this while handling encounters with law enforcement through the use of bribery, negotiation, or courtroom battles.
In order to strengthen their drug empire, players will be able to invest in properties, guns, cars, and pawn shop finds. They must also tackle random and unexpected events that can either aid or harm their business.
For older gamers looking for a new Drug Wars game from the 2000s, Pusher: Drug Tycoon is looking like it might be just what they have been Jonesing for.
Pusher: Drug Tycoon is currently set to release August 2023 for Steam.
