It’s hard to believe that 2024 is coming to a close. But it has been quite the year for the video game industry and 2025 has some interesting things to look forward to. However, we still have a party to go to and what better way to celebrate New Year’s Eve then by inviting some attractive women? So here are our top 10 video game female characters that we recommend you invite to your New Year’s Eve 2024 party!
Cammy White (Street Fighter)
When it comes to women with an interesting past, you can’t beat Cammy from Street Fighter. Once she was one of M. Bison’s Shadaloo “Dolls,” a deadly clone assassin, who then went on to serve in MI6 as a part of the special forces team Delta Red despite suffering from amnesia. While she couldn’t remember her past, she never forgot any of her fighting skills
So if she doesn’t like you, then you will know immediately since she will be brutal and condescending to your insignificant self and possibly execute a Cannon Drill on you. However, if she likes you, this strong, determined, and polite woman will be friendly and enthusiastic.
Despite the strong possibility of enduring physical harm, it is worth asking her out as Cammy’s muscular, yet slender, physique coupled with her blonde hair and blue eyes will certainly make her stand out at any party. Add to the fact that her long hair is braided and tied into two pigtails, and the scar on her left cheek, tends to give confusing signals about her, which means that she will continue to attract even more attention. But not as much as her iconic outfit consisting of a green, sleeveless leotard, red beret, red gloves, black boots, and the green camouflage stains on her legs. Making her more fit to take to a New Year’s Eve party, that is also a pool party, rather than an elegant shindig.
So if you want to get on Cammy’s good side, and increase your chances of her accepting your invitation, then remember that she likes the three Cs: cake, cats, and collecting fighting data. So go learn some UFC stats, bake a cake, and don’t worry about getting a cat since we’re sure you’ve already got that covered.
Since we know you don’t have the guts to approach Cammy in the first place!
Gallica (Metaphor: Refantazio)
Unlike another fairy we can think of who was pretty annoying *Cough* NAVI *Cough*, Gallica is a pleasant companion and helper in Metaphor: Refantazio. A fairy who isn’t a ball of light, but a woman with short orange hair, blue eyes, and wings who wears a yellow leotard, black choker, and silver headband.
Thankfully, you will be able to hold a conversation with Gallica who can speak and not chime at you like Tinkerbell. Though she can get a little repetitive in her role as an advisor. Even then, this intelligent, quick-witted fairy is still a good choice to ask out to the New Year’s Eve party and, since you probably don’t know how to read a map, you won’t get lost on your way since she is a great guide.
Of course, there is the fact of her diminutive size that would make things difficult for anyone wishing to take their relationship further. But as a companion and date, Gallica is a ride or die kind of fairy who will keep a look out for anything out of the ordinary.
As a bonus, she could be the perfect wingwoman for you to help your dumb self meet other women! Who are we kidding? Even she isn’t smart enough to help you with that problem.
Bunny Voltia (The First Descendant)
We know why Bunny is one of the more favored characters in The First Descendent and that, for many, seeing her for the first time is like being hit with a bolt of lightning. Aside from the form-fitting battle suit, when she removes her bunny-eared helmet, many of you were probably disappointed that Bunny didn’t have any rabbit ears attached to her pretty little head. Though the long, single-braided ponytail is real enough.
It’s also shockingly ironic that a woman named Bunny didn’t like rabbit dolls as a kid, but preferred teddy bears. But that is how Bunny is.
Raised by her grandmother, when her parents seemingly abandoned her, there is some emotional trauma there since she became known as Albion’s Greatest Troublemaker in her youth for her stealing. But despite the thefts, she did it out of concern for her grandmother who she was focused on supporting and even had the goal of getting her grandmother a room at the finest retirement district.
If Bunny isn’t an example of a woman who is beautiful on the outside and inside, then I don’t know who is. Just make sure you can keep up with Bunny at the New Year’s Eve party since she is not only fast, but her bubbly, bright personality will certainly electrify the atmosphere and attract everyone to her.
Makoto Niijima (Persona 5)
Normally, a student council president is not someone one would think to approach or ask out (unless you yourself had some status). Even if she is cute with her bob cut and bangs, reddish-brown eyes, and school uniform that eschews a blazer for a black halter vest and long-sleeved turtleneck, not many would approach her. However, Makoto is more of a student council president in name only who was too scared of the consequences if she dared to interfere in the principal’s meddling. In fact, Makoto is a bit of a pushover who incessantly apologizes, has little self-worth, and even keeps secrets from people.
Or at least, she used to be like that.
Since her Persona came forth, she now fights for what she believes in. It will also take you by surprise that her prim and proper appearance hides her tomboyish nature in which she knows aikido and loves violent action movies. She is level-headed and kind, but can also be tough, though she is afraid of the dark and telling her ghost stories will scare her.
There is also the caveat that, if she likes you, she’ll start stalking you while hiding behind a book.
So if you want a date for the New Year’s Eve party, you can’t go wrong with Makoto, just make sure that they don’t turn off the lights at midnight which will ruin your chance for that New Year’s kiss.
Karlach Cliffgate (Baldur’s Gate 3)
Sure, you could go after an elf or a drow, but there are plenty of those in so many other games similar to Baldur’s Gate 3. But how often do you get to meet a Zariel Tiefling like Karlach? To say that she stands out from the rest would be an understatement with her red complexion, a toned, muscled body covered in scars and burns with tattoos. If that isn’t enough to make her stand out in a crowd, she also has horns, a tail, and yellow eyes which gives her a striking appearance.
Trust us, if you are looking for a woman who is too hot to handle, then Karlach is your girl. No, literally, she could burn you if you touch her. And her passion is a raging inferno that makes her strive to live life to the fullest. This jubilant, ex-soldier is a force to be reckoned with in battle, but she can melt in your arms just as easily and eagerly as she throws a pot at someone’s head. And, when talking about life’s simple pleasures, it is wonderful to watch her get excited and animated.
You can bet that Karlach will be the center of attention when she appears at the New Year’s Eve party. And don’t worry if the lights go out at midnight. Her inner fire will brighten the room up just like her personality will.
Nina Williams (Tekken Franchise)
She’s Irish, she’s single, and she’s ready to mingle.
Aye, twas a blessed day when the Emerald Isle gave birth to the cold-blooded assassin Nina Williams. However, her physical beauty, which includes blonde hair and blue eyes (not green curse ya), doesn’t tend to match her inner personality. After all, Nina is an assassin from a line of assassins. Because of her profession, she is cold, indifferent, and ruthlessly efficient. She is also indifferent to others and definitely has trust issues. But what can you expect from a woman who assassinated her own sister’s fiance at their wedding when she dressed up as the bride?
However, there is a spark of hope for her. If you didn’t know, Nina is also a mother, though against her will, as a son was created from her genetic material as she was in cryosleep for 15 years. She was even hired to assassinate her son, Steve Fox, but hesitated to pull the trigger.
So, if you want a package full of trouble and danger, then Nina Williams is the girl to take to the New Year’s Eve party.

Crystal Maiden (DOTA 2)
By now, I’m sure you are all hot and bothered, so we need to cool you down. Who better to do that than the Crystal Maiden herself?
Rylai the Crystal Maiden is certainly a force to be reckoned with as her innate affinity for ice is prevalent. When she was young, wellsprings and mountain rivers would freeze in mere moments if she stopped to rest. Crops would be frostbitten as she passed them while orchards became mazes of ice and dropping frozen fruit that could cause some damage. Eventually, she learned to control those powers after being banished from the kingdom and taken in by an Ice Wizard.
She can freeze a person in place or create a freezing field that rains down large chunks of ice that explodes on impact around her. So she is not someone whose feelings are to be trifled with if you deign to ask her out.
A little hint for you. We suggest you find out who is Crystal Maiden’s favorite poet because she will ask you at the New Year’s Eve party. Your answer will either keep you warm or frozen for the rest of time.
Aerith Gainsborough (Final Fantasy VII)
It’s the choice of all choices when it comes to video games: Tifa Lockhart or Aerith Gainsborough?
While you can’t go wrong with either choice, we already recommended Tifa in our previous New Year’s Eve article, there are reasons why Aerith is the more popular choice between the two when it comes to Final Fantasy 7. Not only is she beautiful, but her personality is what enhances her attractiveness. Aeirth is not only kind and sweet, she is very empathic, worries for others, and feminine.
It wasn’t hard for gamers to be immediately drawn to the flower girl in the pink dress, black boots, and red jacket, as she quickly paints a pretty picture of feminine beauty with a personality that makes people instinctively want to protect.
With her ethereal beauty, grace, and kind-hearted nature Aerith would be a calming spirit in the rowdy and rambunctious atmosphere of a New Year’s Eve party.
Just be prepared to fight plenty of duels over her since, one look at you walking beside her, will show everyone she is way, way, way out of your league. If you aren’t willing to fight, then you better have your fastest chocobo saddled up and ready to escape with her.
Eve (Stellar Blade)
At first glance, you wouldn’t expect Eve to be a soldier from a post-apocalyptic universe. Not with her modelesque-figure, youthful visage, long ponytail and bangs packed into a form-fitting outfit. But a soldier she is and a formidable one as well who is focused on defeating the Naytibas.
Like many soldiers, this lone survivor of the 7th Airborne Squad is straightforward and blunt when she talks. A plus for you, if you have the cajones to ask her out in the first place. At the very least, you’ll get a quick answer from her on whether or not she will accept your invitation to a New Year’s Eve party.
If you are lucky to get a “Yes” out of her, then you’ll find Eve to possess a dry sense of humor, with a hint of sarcasm, which should make the date enjoyable. But if you really want to get on her good side, then bring a couple cans of Campbell’s or Chef Boyardee and this can-collecting addict will melt into your arms (if you don’t know what kinds of cans she is into, then that is your fault. We can’t help you with everything since everyone wants to date her).
What better way to spend New Year’s Eve than with Eve, a woman who is both beautiful and battle-ready?
Samus Aran (Metroid Franchise)
When it comes to intimidating women, Samus Aran is at the top of that list. She is tall, beautiful, and a bounty hunter. So if you have a price on your head, you might want to avoid her at all costs. Though it wouldn’t surprise us if you are like the moth who is attracted to the flame.
Of course, if you didn’t ask her out for Valentine’s Day, like we recommended, then here is another chance for you. Samus is a capable, butt-kicking fighter who would wipe the floor with Deathstroke or Deadpool (her choice). Yet, she is also compassionate, kind, and not afraid to sacrifice herself for others. Her tragic history has made her a bit of a loner and melancholic, but we know she has those motherly instincts
Still, it is surprising that this 6’3” warrior is humble, a woman of few words, and solemn even in the wake of her amazing accomplishments. From her time in the Federation Police to her legendary exploits as a bounty hunter, Samus will certainly stand out, literally and figuratively, at any New Year’s Eve party with the stories she could tell and the presence she has.
Just remember, in this game of cat and mouse you are most definitely the mouse.
