It’s Morphin Day as Third-Person Shooter Project Tower is Now Available on Steam and PlayStation

There’s nothing like a hail of bullets coming your way to give you the adrenaline boost you need so early in the new year. As a sci-fi third-person shooter, Project Tower is a bullet hell title that was just released on Steam for all the inmates to enjoy.

Set on earth which was invaded and overrun by an alien species called the Hiks, an alien race bent on conquering the universe, Project Tower paints a bleak future as the human survivors are placed in alien towers. The towers are part of the Hiks’ program to train their army by forcing prisoners to fight within these structures. Players will take on the role of an inmate who must reach the top of the tower to earn their freedom.

Along the way, players will be able to gather weapons and utilize a morphing ability that allows the character to change into other life forms and objects to help traverse the various floors. Floors which simulate various environments and provide varying challenges for the player to navigate through combat and puzzle-solving in order to escape this alien prison.

Developed by four-man indie game developer Yummy Games, Project Tower is a single player indie game in which there is still a human resistance hoping to recruit those who can escape the towers. According to Yummy Games, Project Tower will take around five hours to complete depending how quickly players can traverse through the levels.
