Been sick since last week and haven’t had the energy or brainpower to keep up with posting editorials and news. While I am not on my deathbed, this flu has sapped my energy and brought with it a brain fog that prevents me from thinking clearly. So I’m just making, and consuming, lots of soup and sleeping as much as possible. I’ve also been watching some anime and re-reading The Witcher books.
After all this time, I finally finished Attack on Titan which was absolutely fantastic. Loved the ending and really enjoyed seeing Eren making the decisions and actions he made – even understood why he did what he did. Also caught up with Overlord which is still a fun anime to watch.
Then I tried to finish Food Wars which I had only seen the first season when it originally released. Didn’t bother to finish it because the fanservice is so over-the-top and a big filler for the episodes. So I watched up to season 4 and ended it there. Might finish it at some point.
Also watched some anime I hadn’t heard of before, though the names for many of them were so long and on the nose that it made me long for older anime with shorter titles. Still there were a number that were pretty cool such as Arifureta Shokugyō de Sekai Saikyō, I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World and Became Unrivaled in the Real World, Too, Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?, Solo Levelling, and some others. Might have to do some editorials about my thoughts about the various anime I’ve watched.
I also started re-reading The Witcher novels since it has been a long time since I read them. Been wanting to do so, especially after seeing the cinematic trailer for The Witcher 4 which doesn’t fill me with much confidence. To be succinct, I am not pleased with how the game appears to be handling Ciri. But that is a post for another day.
For now, I am still recovering but hope to, at the very least, put out some editorials this week.
