For gamers looking to put their phlebotomy skills to the test, then today is your lucky day! Developer Clever Trickster has released Blood Bar Tycoon on Steam, a vampire-themed management simulation game.
Players will get to step into the eerie world of Crimson City, where they will manage a series of vampire bars. Entrepreneurial vampires will be challenged to transform dilapidated bistros into chic vampire hangouts. But, while doing so, players will need to manage the delicate balance between attracting human patrons and harvesting their blood for vampire clientele.
Blood Bar Tycoon will allow players to build and expand their bars, design the interior, and manage the resources in order to satisfy both human and vampire customers. It is up to players to lure in unsuspecting mortals in order to extract your number one product: blood.
Blood harvesting will require the use of contraptions on the humans you lure into the bar and are able to restrain in an underground human detention center. However, players will need to be careful as extracting too much blood will result in the death of your victims rather than leaving your establishment with a hangover. Of course, the more bodies you rack up, the more likely vampire hunters will show up at your establishment.
Players will need to navigate collecting blood, managing their employees, outwitting inspectors, dealing with vampire hunters, and figuring out how to design and run a bar that will attract both types of clientele. All of this in pursuit of the goal for becoming an Elder vampire yourself, if you can satisfy the Elders with a variety of bloody drinks and cocktails to win them over as your ally.
Blood Bar Tycoon blends strategy, creativity, and dark humor with a Sims-like aesthetic which will offer players the chance to indulge in the gothic aesthetics of vampire lore while tackling the logistical challenges of bar management.
Blood Bar Tycoon is now available on Steam for $19.99 (currently on sale for $15.99 until February 11th).
