If you are looking for some turtle power, sans the pizza, to itch that shell of yours, then check out Tortuga City which just released on Steam today.
Created by developer HerrGrievous, the game is set in Tortuga City which is a dark and futuristic metropolis that is populated by turtle people. It’s a dystopian world where players will step into the role as leader of a group of rebels hoping to find a way out of their situation in order to survive. It is up to you, as the leader, to choose from various professions what your followers will undertake in an attempt to create a functioning society while simultaneously withstanding the pressure from police.
Players will also need to develop various strategies to fight against incoming police by training soldiers, building defensive structures, and utilizing all the resources at your disposal each day that passes. While attempting to withstand the attacks, players will need to find and locate hidden paths and discover city secrets to escape the siege and not just uncover hidden resources and find useful equipment, but also contact and connect with other rebels.
However, there is a finite amount of time to survive the attacks and escape the city.
Players will have 50 days to find an escape from the neon lights of Tortuga City before its police force unleashes their secret weapon to wipe out your band of rebels.
