Developer Kipwak Studio Reveals Date for Wizard Academy Steam Early Access

For those who thought they could run a wizarding school better than a particular headmaster named Albus, then you are going to get your chance to prove it in the near future. For those wishing to run their own version of Hogwarts, without it being set in the world of Harry Potter, then you will be happy to know that strategy colony sim Wizdom Academy is coming to Steam Early Access April 17, 2025.

Developed by Kipwak Studio, Wizdom Academy will put players in the role of the school’s headmaster where they will be able to build the academy, manage the school, recruit apprentices and teachers, and increase the academy’s influence by sending them out on expeditions.

As headmaster, players will be able to pick and choose from various magical buildings and design the classrooms, dorms, exploration halls, mana storage, and various other rooms to make the academy suit their purpose , goals, and aesthetics. From there, recruit residents who will work and harvest the resources for the academy and teach students who start out as apprentices into powerful sorcerers while influencing their abilities along their journey.

To help the school flourish, teachers will also need to be recruited to help guide the apprentices, though it will be up to the Headmaster to keep them satisfied by negotiating salaries and the like. There is also the Directorium which, as headmaster, you will have to deal with.

Of course, what is a wizarding school without a magic source? In this wizard school management game, mana is becoming increasingly unstable and requires that players be wise when harvesting this magical source to power the school. As the supply of mana continues to be depleted, players will have to be strategic and clever in their use of it and, along the way, try to discover why mana shortages occur and what could be causing it.

Wizard Academy is set to release April 17 on Steam Early Access and can be added to Wishlists now and a demo that can be played.
